Based in Atlanta, ACE’s Georgia affiliate uses a learn-by-doing approach to introduce high school students to the many exciting and rewarding career opportunities available in architecture, engineering and construction.
Professionals in these fields mentor student teams, guiding them through weekly design projects, tours of major construction sites and visits to the offices of leading firms in the global building industry. ACE Atlanta also gives students a chance to make industry contacts that could prove invaluable in obtaining references for summer jobs, college admissions, internships, apprenticeships and full-time employment.
ACE Atlanta’s program for the 2007-2008 school year will begin in January 2008. To learn more about the program, click on the Atlanta link under Georgia to the left.
