25th Anniversary Celebration
Everyone in the ACE family – board members, mentors, alumni, affiliate leaders, and students – is invited to commemorate ACE’s quarter century of growing and diversifying the design and construction industry workforce.
The centerpiece of anniversary celebrations is a festive reception and dinner on May 14 in Washington, DC immediately followed by ACE’s biennial All Affiliates Conference on May 15-16
Please note the registration fee is all inclusive of 25th Anniversary Celebration Reception and Dinner, CIRT National Design and Construction Competition, and All Affiliates Meeting.
Attendees can attend the 25th Anniversary Celebration Reception and Dinner or choose to attend all events by RSVP during the registration process.
Also part of the celebrations are a photo contest for students and mentors and a social media campaign when affiliates can showcase their Rock Stars and feature a noteworthy accomplishment.
A commemorative edition of ACE’s Yearbook, to be published late this summer by Engineering News-Record, will culminate anniversary celebrations.

May 14 – 16, 2019 ACE Mentor 25th Anniversary Celebration
ACE will celebrate its 25th Anniversary with festivities and special events at the Gaylord Resort just outside Washington, DC. The beautiful resort is situated on the banks of the Potomac River and conveniently located only 15-20 minutes by car from Reagan National Airport.
May 14 A Day of Celebration
1:00pm - 4:00pm: Finals of the CIRT National Design and Construction Competition
5:30pm - 10:00pm: 25th Anniversary Celebration Reception and Dinner. Among the special activities planned for the celebration will be recognition of the 2019 Outstanding Mentors and presentation of the CMiC—Allen Berg Memorial Scholarship winners. (Cocktail Attire Required for Reception/Dinner)
May 15-16 All Affiliates Conference
Affiliate leaders and mentors are encouraged to attend this 1½-day conference to learn new best practices and exchange ideas with ACE colleagues from around the country.

All ACE affiliates are requested to identify a Milestone of which they are particularly proud and also to nominate an ACE Rock Star for inclusion in a social media campaign and a slide show at the 25th Anniversary Celebration Reception and Dinner.

Students and mentors can win prizes – anniversary T-shirts and $25 Amazon gift cards – in a photo contest with the theme of ACE in action. Some photos may be published in the ACE Yearbook.

CMiC-Allen Berg
Memorial Scholarship
CMiC has announced a Pledge $10 Million to Advance the Construction Industry in Memory of its Founder Allen S. Berg
The initial $3 million grant to the ACE Mentor Program of America establishes the CMiC-Allen Berg Memorial Scholarship Awards to help students pursue careers in the construction industry.
At the 25th Anniversary Celebration Reception and Dinner on May 14 and the opening session of the All Affiliates Conference on May 15, congratulate the scholarship winners from across the country. They rank among ACE’s “best and brightest.”
Winners will be announced in early April. Details about this scholarship program can be viewed here.
