A nationally recognized leader in the surety and construction insurance industry, Richard Ferrucci serves as Managing Director of Alliant’s Construction Services Group. His 40-plus years of executive experience include the formation and development of the construction divisions of the Aon, Willis, and RFF & Associates insurance brokerage organizations, as well as Alliant’s Construction Services Group. He maintains excellent relationships with senior leaders in the construction industry and provides unique risk solutions to Alliant clients.
Richard joined Alliant in 2010 when it purchased RFF & Associates, the company he founded in 2004 and one of the largest independent surety brokerage firms in the U.S. Before that, Richard spent 12 years with Aon Corporation where he served as Senior Vice President and was Chairman of the Construction Services Group. He began his career in 1976 as President of Frank B. Hall of Long Island, NY, and in 1982, he founded and was President of Contractors Planning Group (CPG). In 1986, he became Chairman of CPG, a division of Corroon & Black/Willis.
Richard’s family has been in the surety business since 1938, with his two sons representing a third generation of commitment to servicing contractors.
Richard serves on multiple insurance advisory councils and is a board member of numerous companies within the construction industry. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Fairfield University and his Master’s degree in special education from Southern Connecticut State College.
