Our Externship Program connects high school students with leading AEC firms across Hawaii for a paid, short-term summer experience. It’s a hands-on introduction to the real world of design, engineering, and construction.

How It Works:

- Match with a Student based on interests and location
- Host for 80 Hours of student work time.
- Receive Support from ACE to ensure a successful experience.

Eligibility
- Open to current ACE students (Grades 11–12 preferred)
- Must complete a short application and interview
What to Expect:
- 80-hour externship (paid at $20/hour)
- Mentorship and daily shadowing
- Participation in real project discussions and field walks
- Professional growth workshops and post-externship reflection
