Get Involved as an Educator

What educators have learned.

Educators in more than 200 communities and 1,450 high schools across the U.S. have seen the difference ACE can make in their students’ academic performance, college aspirations and career motivation. Interest is up. Grades are up. College enrollment is up.

Today, more than 10,000 students take part in ACE. Working with mentors from local professional firms, they’re reaping the rewards of working directly with architects, interior designers, landscape architects, engineers, construction managers and tradespeople. It’s an education – and an experience – like no other.

Involved in a school construction or renovation project?

If so, let us know. We often find that the firms working on those projects are enthusiastic about helping to organize and run local ACE programs.

No school time is used.
No school funds are spent.

Funded entirely by generous sponsors, ACE students meet after school with dedicated mentors who guide them through engaging, hands-on projects and field trips. These activities reinforce classroom learning in math, physics, art, computer skills and other important subjects, establishing a direct link between curricular and career success.

Personal recommendations.
Professional impact.

ACE mentors frequently provide qualified students with recommendations for college admissions, internships and full-time employment – these recommendations can have a significant effect on a student’s success.
