Anita Woolley Nelson is Regional Executive Officer for two operating units within Skanska USA Building Inc.—Skanska Advanced Technologies (SAT), a national unit that serves mission critical and high tech manufacturing customers, and Skanska Integrated Solutions (SIS), which provides program management and consulting services.

A 25-year industry veteran with global experience spanning digital transformation, program and project management, M&A, business planning, market strategy and communications, Anita is a dynamic leader who creates and implements strategic initiatives that best serve Skanska’s customers while optimizing operations and guiding company growth. She works closely with national and regional leadership to enhance organizational effectiveness, ensure collaboration and alignment, and deliver a consistent customer experience.

Anita previously served as Chief Strategy Officer for Skanska USA Building, driving engagement with customers and partners, informing long-term business planning, and implementing operational and innovation strategies that aligned with business goals.

Prior to joining Skanska, she served as a strategy-focused senior leader at AECOM, where she worked with executive leadership to develop and ensure alignment of strategic priorities, particularly integrated delivery, geographic expansion and mergers and acquisitions. Anita has an MBA from the University of Nevada and BA in English and Communications from Wake Forest University.
