As of March 15, 2013, Bob is currently the Head of Travelers Bond & Specialty Insurance, Construction Services, in Hartford, Connecticut. His leadership responsibilities include the development and implementation of all business strategies and initiatives for the management, underwriting and sales of construction surety and related products to Travelers construction clientele.

Bob graduated from Wake Forest University in 1987 with a BS in Business Administration and received an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1994.

Bob’s professional surety career includes over twenty years with Aetna and Travelers Bond & Specialty Insurance starting in Charlotte, NC in 1987. In 2001, Bob and his family relocated to Hartford, CT where his progression continued, including positions as Regional Underwriting Officer, Chief Underwriting Officer of National Accounts, and Chief Operating Officer of Construction Services. Bob currently serves as the Construction Surety Business Unit Leader for Travelers Bond and Specialty Insurance.

Bob has spoken about the surety industry at numerous national events for organizations including AGC, CFMA, ABC, and ABA.

Bob resides in West Hartford, CT with his wife and two children.
