Scholarships

The ACE Mentor Program of Alabama is committed to supporting students as they pursue higher education and careers in architecture, construction, engineering, and related fields. Since 2005, the program has awarded more than $230,000 in scholarships to deserving students pursuing ACE-related fields of study.

Each year, graduating high school seniors are invited to apply for ACE scholarship opportunities. Scholarships are awarded through a comprehensive application and interview process conducted by the ACE Scholarship Committee and are presented during the Annual End-of-Year Program.

Scholarship Eligibility
To be eligible for an ACE scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a graduating high school senior participating in the ACE Mentor Program.
• Plan to pursue an ACE-related field of study at an accredited college, university, community college, or skilled trades program.
• Meet the minimum program attendance requirements established for the current program year.
• Submit a completed scholarship application by the published deadline.

Application Requirements
A completed scholarship application includes:

• Completed online application
• Essay responses
• Letter of recommendation from a non-family member
• High school transcript
• Any additional materials requested in the scholarship guidelines

Scholarship Selection Process
Scholarships are awarded through a multi-step review process conducted by the ACE Scholarship Committee.
The process includes:

1. Online scholarship application
2. Application review by the Scholarship Committee
3. Interviews with selected finalists
4. Scholarship recipient selection
5. Scholarship awards presented at the Annual End-of-Year Program

How to Apply
When the scholarship application period opens:

1. Log in to your ACE account at app.acementor.org.
2. Select Scholarships from the left navigation menu.
3. Choose the current ACE Alabama Scholarship application.
4. Complete all required sections and submit your application before the deadline.

• Applications may be saved and completed over multiple sessions until they are submitted.
• All required sections must be completed before the application can be submitted.
• Late or incomplete applications may not be considered.
