Julia Andor
Regional Director, Northeast
A passionate advocate for equity and access in the AEC industry, Julia Andor brings a deep commitment to community building to her role with ACE. Her mentoring journey started when she created a peer-to-peer mentoring program during her time at the New York Institute of Technology that continues to inspire leaders today. Before joining ACE, she held numerous roles with the American Institute of Architecture Students, where she helped engage and support collegiate and high school leaders at 300+ chapters.
Julia’s career has woven together her love for design, strategy, and community. She’s worked in architecture, nonprofit leadership, marketing, and research with a focus on engaging people, telling meaningful stories, and making data-driven decisions. Along the way, she’s helped plan conferences and events of all sizes, bringing together students, professionals, and partners to collaborate and connect.
Julia holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology, where she graduated summa cum laude with minors in Civic Engagement and Energy Science, Technology, and Policy. Her thesis explored how community engagement in design can transform infrastructure into more inclusive, people-centric spaces- an ethos that continues to drive her work today.
When she is not supporting our affiliates as Northeast Regional Director, Julia enjoys finding new hiking trails, exploring walkable neighborhoods, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Keno.
