Tami Hughes, ACE Mentor Program of Rhode Island

For over 12 years, Tami Hughes has been a driving force within ACE Rhode Island, serving as a mentor, national competition lead, board leader, curriculum champion, and founder of strong alumni connections. She is known for always showing up, whether that means guiding students through complex challenges, strengthening programming across the affiliate, or supporting alumni as they transition into college and professional life. Tami believes mentorship is a lifelong relationship, and her students know they always have someone in their corner. Through her leadership in ACE and her broader advocacy for inclusive mentorship in the design community, Tami has built a powerful network rooted in care, accountability, and opportunity.
