Amy is currently the Senior Manager of Corporate Partnerships at Genesys Works-Houston, a nonprofit focused on providing equitable access to corporate work opportunities for high school students. Prior to joining Genesys Works, Amy worked as a structural engineer for Walter P Moore, where she first got involved with the ACE Mentor Program Houston in 2012 as a volunteer mentor and eventually as a Lead Mentor. Her involvement in ACE is where she first discovered her passion for working with high school students, which eventually led her to make the transition to a career in the nonprofit sector. Amy joined the Executive Board of ACE Houston in 2017 and became the Chair of the inaugural Associate Board in 2018. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BS and MS in Structural Engineering and is a licensed structural engineer.
